Location and Directions to Gallery
Journeyman Gallery is located at the corner of US 41 and Pine Ridge roads. Pine Ridge road is exit 107 off of I-75. Take Pine Ridge west towards the gulf, cross over US 41 and Journeyman Gallery is located on your left hand side (south side), above Hertz. Designated parking spots are on the east side of the building by Alvin's Island Beach Store. The Journeyman Gallery entrance is street level at the front of the building. For larger events park at Waterside / Barnes&Noble and walk across the street.
About the Gallery
The Journeyman Gallery owned by Josh Manring, a Naples based photographer and naturalist, opens the eyes and senses displaying inspiring imagery from more than 50 countries. Manring spotlights personal work from Africa, South America, Cuba, Costa Rica and SW Florida. In addition to the evolving photo exhibit, visitors will find unique gifts and monthly activities including presentations of new work, instructional workshops, photo/nature trips and yoga classes. Main Gallery Room
The main gallery room is 21x18, wood floors, walls adorned with prints mounted on aluminum panels from around the world. The photographs are ready to hang and do not need to be framed. The bookcase and small print area is a wonderful place to purchase a thoughtful gift or purchase artwork under the $50 price. A 90 inch screen pulls down for presentations and classes. There is comfortable seating for 20. A patron bathroom is located down a short hallway at the east side of the main gallery room.
The Bamboo Gallery Room
Currently the Bamboo Gallery room exhibits the private art collection of Josh Manring. The room is furnished with a sofa, two chairs, and tables to relax and enjoy the provocative work. Josh's private collection includes work by Uriel Parker, Juan Diaz, Noah Deledda, and other esteemed artists.
